On 01/07/2013, the Narcotics Division conducted a traffic stop on Highway 301 near North Church Street. When officers approached the vehicle, they could smell an odor of Marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. KEERA PITTMAN (driver) was asked to exit the vehicle. ANDRAE DAVIS (passenger) was also asked to exit the vehicle. Cpl. Adams and K-9 partner Sasha conducted a narcotics search of the vehicle. K-9 Sasha alerted to the odor of narcotics on the center console of the vehicle. Upon search of the vehicle, a white in color plastic Family Dollar bag was located. The Family Dollar bag contained seven (7) individual bags of Marijuana that weighed 100.1 grams, sandwich bags and a set of digital scales. Also located in the center console was a pill bottle containing twenty seven (27) Hydrocodone pills. A partially smoked Marijuana blunt was also located in the ashtray. ADRAE DAVIS and KEERA PITTMAN were both charged with Possession with Intent to Sell/Deliver Marijuana, Felony possession of Marijuana, Trafficking Opium/Heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. ANDRAE DAVIS was placed into the Nash County Jail under a $30,000.00 secured bond and KEERA PITTMAN was placed into the Nash County Jail under a $12,500.00 secured bond.
