Yesterday, the City notified its utility customers of the need to conserve water due to a mechanical problem at the Nederland Water Treatment Plant caused by an Entergy power outage. Repairs were completed today. At no time was the quality of water at risk. Customers may resume their regular consumption. We thank our customers for their cooperation and patience in dealing with this problem.
