A Winter Weather Advisory for snow is now in effect from 10 pm to 4 pm Tuesday.

Accumulations from 3 to 6 inches of snow which will vary substantially based on the positioning of the heavy snow band.

Light snow will overspread the region this evening and continue through late tonight or Tuesday morning. The snow will taper off and end late Tuesday morning.

Impacts...snow covered roads will make for more dangerous travel conditions.

Winds from the north from 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph with temperatures from the teens to low 20s.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities and use caution while driving.
