On Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at 0938 hrs. several officers from the Western District responded to the 1500 block of Redhaven Drive in Severn, Maryland in reference to an residential Breaking and Entering which was interrupted by a neighbor. Entry was attempted by breaking out a rear basement window. The neighbor observed three males flee the area and was able to give good physical and clothing descriptions of those suspects.

An extensive search of the area was conducted by uniformed officers, District Detectives, a K-9 Unit and a police helicopter. During the search, Officer Jeffery Jackson #1759 and Det. Hardesty #1607 each made apprehensions. The two suspects arrested were identified as 19 year old Charles Jones of the 4900 block of Gunther Ave. in Baltimore, and 18 yr. old Kameron Keionte Brown of the 8200 block of Dunfield Ct. in Severn.

Through investigation a third suspect, who is still at large, was identified and charges have been applied for.

Also used in the incident and recovered from the scene was the following vehicle:

2001 Grand Cherokee Jeep Limited 4X4
Black with tinted windows and a roof rack
