THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WILMINGTON HAS ISSUED A FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 1 AM EST MONDAY.
* HAZARD TYPES...LIGHT ICE ACCUMULATION.
* ACCUMULATIONS...ICE ACCUMULATIONS OF UNDER A TENTH OF AN INCH.
* TIMING...FREEZING RAIN IS EXPECTED TO OCCUR THIS EVENING.
* IMPACTS...LIGHT AMOUNTS OF ICING WILL CAUSE SOME ROADS AND SIDEWALKS TO BECOME SLIPPERY. USE CAUTION WHEN OUTDOORS AS AREAS THAT LOOK WET MAY BE ICY. IF YOU MUST DRIVE...BE CAUTIOUS AS YOU MAY ENCOUNTER ICE ON ROADS.
* WINDS...SOUTHEAST AT 10 TO 20 MILES PER HOUR.
* TEMPERATURES...AROUND 30 DEGREES.
