We have been fortunate enough to have very little to report in regards to Neighborhood and Business problems in the City of Des Peres over the holidays. This of course is with the exception of the U.S. Bank Robbery, which was handled well by the local news media outlets. But I wanted to pass this information along so as to hopefully avoid becoming victims like other have been in the past.

Recently this office received information from surrounding municipalities in regards to stealing from unlocked vehicles and damage to others parked on residential streets (including keying, tire slashing , etc…). Thankfully, we have not seen this trend inside the City of Des Peres as of late. Even with that being said, we at the Department of Public Safety want to remind our residents to take the extra time and make sure your vehicles and residents (to include garage doors) are secured before retiring for the evening. And as always please report any suspicious sightings, immediately, to the Des Peres Police Department. (Emergency 911 / Non-Emergency 314-835-6200)
