ARMED ROBBERY (CITIZEN) BROOKLYN PARK
On January 28, 2013, at approximately 11:29 p.m., officers from the Northern District responded to the area of the 100 block of W. Meadow Road in Brooklyn Park for a report of an armed robbery of a citizen.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the 23-year-old female victim, who stated that she was retrieving items from her car parked on W. Meadow Road when a male suspect approached her from behind, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The victim ultimately complied with the suspect’s demands. The suspect took her cell phone and purse and fled on foot towards Old Riverside Road. Several officers and a K-9 unit searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.
Suspect: Black male in his 20’s, approximately 5’5”-5’7” with a thin build, wearing blue jeans, a black hooded sweatshirt and a black face mask
