Winter storm warning in effect from 2 pm Fri - 4 pm Sat for heavy snow with blowing and drifting. Poss snow 18-24 in

A winter storm warning in effect from 2 pm Fri - 4 pm Sat for heavy snow.

Heavy snow with blowing and drifting with possible snow accumulation of 18 to 24 inches.

Light snow will begin falling early Friday morning but conditions will rapidly deteriorate Friday afternoon and continue through early Saturday morning. Snow will be heavy at times Friday evening into Saturday morning.

Snow covered roads, low visibilities, blowing and drifting snow is likely, winds north from 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph, visibility is one quarter mile or less at times with temperatures from 12 to 25.

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an emergency. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
