Hit and Run Suspect sought

Los Angeles- On Saturday, February 9, 2013, at approximately 0035 hours, a twenty one year old female Hispanic, resident of Los Angeles, was fatally injured, and a nineteen year old male Hispanic, was critically injured as a result of a traffic collision at 7th Street and the 5 Freeway S/B on-ramp in Hollenbeck Area. The female was a right rear passenger and was ejected from the vehicle. The male was the right front passengers and he was ejected from the vehicle. They were both passengers inside of a 1995, Honda, Civic, 4-door, blue, License No. 5SQW514. The Honda was traveling eastbound 7th Street, ran off the road, and collided with the curb, lamp standard splitting the vehicle in half. The female was pronounced dead at scene and the male was transported to USCMC.

Witnesses at the scene indicated that an unidentified male Hispanic in his 30's was observed dragging the female Hispanic’s body from the middle of the roadway to the Southwest curb of 7th Street. The hit and run driver was last seen running on foot eastbound 7th Street.
