To assist in snow removal NKC requests that vehicles be removed from the streets where possible 
The National Weather Service has forecasted a major winter storm for the metro area. Snow accumulations up to 10 inches are possible over the next 24-36 hours. The North Kansas City Public Works Department request that all cars parked on the street be moved to driveways or garages, if possible, to facilitate snow removal efforts. Crews will begin plowing as soon as accumulation reaches 1" and continue the removal effort throughout the storm. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
