AN INTENSE WINTER STORM WILL AFFECT THE REGION EARLY THURSDAY MORNING THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING...BRINGING A MIXTURE OF WINTRY PRECIPITATION. THE STORM WILL ARRIVE A BIT LATER AND ENTER EAST CENTRAL KANSAS AND WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI SHORTLY BEFORE SUNRISE.
THE HEAVIEST SNOW IS EXPECTED TO FALL ALONG AND NORTH OF THE I-
70 CORRIDOR WITH 6 TO 10 INCHES EXPECTED. SOUTH OF I-70 A MIX OF SNOW AND SLEET WILL PRODUCE 3 TO 6 INCHES OF SNOW...WHILE FURTHER SOUTH A MIX OF SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN COULD PRODUCE MINOR ICE ACCUMULATIONS FROM BUTLER TO SEDALIA.
