The Dos Palos Police Department investigated a report of animal cruelty in the 1000 block of Dos Palos Avenue.
13 Dogs were removed from the residence. There was no running water at the residence and the majority of the Dogs actually lived within the residence.
Dos Palos Officers put on protective clothing and made their way through the urine and feces infested dwelling. The owner of the dogs was arrested.
The Dogs will be taken to the vet tomorrow to determine the level of care required to bring them back to a desireable level of health.
