Congratulations go out to Lt. Matthew Dear and Probationary Officer David Lopez. On Wednesday Feb. 20 (David’s third day on the job) they responded to a burglary of a habitation on Richard Dr. Within an hour or so they were able to arrest a suspect and recover two stolen laptops from an apartment at Lytle Apartments. A nice solid 2nd Degree Felony Arrest!

Sr. Ofc. Hanson had a busy weekend too! He had four warrant arrest (one didn’t make this weekly report since it was after midnight) that resulted in trips to the county jail in Jourdanton. Too bad we can’t add some sort of fuel surcharge to the arrestee like those delivery companies charge us!

March 9, 2013 8a-3p – Spring Yard Sale at the Animal Care and Control Facility. Always a great event, something for everyone. If you want to donate something please call the facility at 830-709-3832. Stop by and help support a worthy cause.
