Century Sheriff’s Station is proudly presenting the annual Scorpion Relay on March 9, 2013 at Bonelli Park in San Dimas.
The Scorpion Relay is a challenging cross-country run through rolling hills over grass, dirt, pavement, and consisting of a six person team event covering 30 miles, an individual 10 mile event, and an individual 15 mile event. Teams will run two runners at a time for time management purposes.
The race is open to the general public with six different categories to compete in.
The cost to participate is as follows:
Scorpion Relay (6 Person Team, 5mile loop per runner)
--Free for LASAA Members before March 1, 2013
--$15 per runner, $20 after February 24, 2013, $20 on race day
Scorpion 10 Miler (Individual Runner, (2) 5mile loops)
-- Free for LASAA Members before February 24, 2013
--$25 per runner, $30 after February 24, 2013, $35 on race day
Scorpion 15 Miler (Individual Runner, (3) 5mile loops)
--$30 per runner, $35 after February 24, 2013, $40 on race day
Race day registration from 06:30-07:45am. Staggered starts beginning at 08:00am. T-Shirts for registrants.
