STABBING ARREST GLEN BURNIE
On February 24, 2013, at approximately 1:37 a.m., officers from the Northern District responded to the 100 block of Warwickshire Lane in Glen Burnie for a stabbing.
Upon arrival, officers learned that the 29-year-old male victim and the suspect were both attending a party in an apartment. At one juncture, the victim went outside the building, where he was attacked by the suspect with a broken bottle. The victim sustained a laceration to the arm and the suspect fled the scene. Several officers and a K-9 unit searched the area, but the suspect was not initially located. The victim was transported to Harbor Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
At approximately 3:50 p.m., officers learned of a possible location of the stabbing suspect. Officers responded to the 5300 block of Pennington Avenue in Baltimore, where contact was made with an individual matching the stabbing suspect’s description. The suspect was placed under arrest without incident and transported to the Northern District Police Station. Through interviews with witnesses, the suspect and based on evidence located at the scene, the suspect was charged with First and Second Degree Assault, Malicious Destruction of Property and Reckless Endangerment.
