NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH ALERT

The Tustin Police Department has seen an increase in stolen vehicles recently. Many of the vehicles that have been stolen are Hondas.

Some recommendations to consider in order to reduce your chances of becoming a victim:
1. Please lock up your doors and windows.
2. Consider using a lock on your vehicle steering wheel and be sure to use it. It is not 100% proof, but it can be a deterrent.
3. Please do not leave any valuables inside your vehicle.
4. Please remember to keep the three main Neighborhood Watch principles in mind:
A. Awareness,
B. Knowing your neighbors,
C. And when you see someone or something suspicious to please call it in immediately and as accurately as you can to the Tustin Police Department.
5. If you wake up during the night, please look out your windows for any suspicious activity due to the fact those stolen vehicles very possibly occurred during those hours. If you do see anything suspicious, call the police immediately.
