South Los Angeles man walks to nearby fire station after being shot
At approximately 5:00 PM this evening, a South Los Angeles man was walking near the 1400 block of West 108th Street when he was shot in the lower torso by the occupants of a passing vehicle.
After being shot, the victim walked to a nearby Los Angeles County Fire Station where he received medical attention from fire department personnel.
The victim was subsequently transported to a local hospital for further treatment of his injury, which did not appear to be life threatening.
