THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN INDIANAPOLIS HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 3
PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 7 AM EST WEDNESDAY.
* MAIN IMPACT: ROADS MAY BECOME SLIPPERY DUE TO SNOW. TRAVEL MAY BECOME DIFFICULT.
* ACCUMULATIONS: FOUR TO SEVEN INCHES OF SNOW.
* TIMING: RAIN...WILL CHANGE TO SNOW LATE THIS AFTERNOON. SNOW WILL CONTINUE THIS EVENING AND DIMINISH LATE TONIGHT. MODERATE TO OCCASIONALLY HEAVY SNOW IS POSSIBLE THIS EVENING.

A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW MEANS SEVERE WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW ARE FORECAST THAT WILL MAKE TRAVEL DANGEROUS. ONLY TRAVEL IN AN EMERGENCY. IF YOU MUST TRAVEL...KEEP AN EXTRA FLASHLIGHT... FOOD...AND WATER IN YOUR VEHICLE IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY.
