Winter Storm Saturn Advisory in effect for Bergen County area from 6 PM tonight to 6 PM Thursday.

Winter Weather Advisory is currently in effect from 6:00 PM tonight until 6:00 PM Thursday.

The current forecast calls for rain to begin after 1200PM and then mix with and transition to all snow by evening. The snow is expected to continue throughout Thursday (03/07), mix with rain in the afternoon and transition back to snow by Thursday evening.

This system will bring snow into Friday (03/08) morning’s commute before departing our region early afternoon. Total snowfall accumulations for Bergen are expected to be in the 3-6 inch range.

This will be a heavy wet snowfall. Winds are expected to be in the 18-22 MPH range tonight with gusts near 33. Thursday’s winds are expected to be in the 20-25 MPH range with gusts near 35.

Today’s temperatures will be in the low 40’s during the day and low30’s at night. Thursday’s will be in the high 30’s during the day and low 30’s at night.

Minor Tidal Flooding is possible.
