Woodway SWAT Ends Standoff Peacefully 
Members of the Woodway SWAT executed an entry into a house at 529 Bellaire and arrested Tyler Staas after a 5 hour stand off . Mr Staas was involved in a disturbance with his girl friend, displayed a rifle and threatened to kill any officer who attempted to arrest him.
Officers arrived on the scene at approximatley midnight and cleared the residence at appriximatley 5:00 am. The negotiators attempted to negotiate with Mr Staas for almost 5 hours.
No one was injured and the entire team performed exceptional.
Mr. Staas was charged with evading arrest, assault on a police officer, & abuse of 911 system. As always thanks for your support
