St. Patrick's Day Street Party Information
Information for People Attending Street Party on Saturday, March 16, 2013.
9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. - 2900 Greenville Ave. will be closed to vehicle traffic.
Shuttles will be provided from Mockingbird Station to the event area. No alcohol or coolers will be allowed on shuttles.
Taxi stands will be on Greenville Ave. upon the conclusion of the event. Police DWI squads will patrol and arrest for DWI.
No alcohol may be brought into the event area.
Party is 21+ only—IDs will be strictly enforced.
Temporary "No Parking" signs will be installed in neighborhoods. On streets with Resident Parking Only (RPO), those with the appropriate RPO placards will be allowed to park any time.
**Please note that ANY vehicle parked in a No Parking, No Standing zone, or one that creates a safety issue will be subject to towing at the owner’s expense.**
Information for Private Neighborhood Parties
Let guests know to arrive early due to an increased number of streets being closed and Resident Parking Only. Violators will be towed immediately.
Educate guests in alternate parking and/or encourage guests to use public transportation.
If holding a private party, please take into consideration your neighbors and surrounding citizens. Police, Fire and Code Enforcement will be enforcing city ordinances.
Consider shutting down bands or loud music early, prior to complaints being made. Noise may carry several blocks.
If having an outdoor party, consider providing additional restroom facilities for your guests.
