Detectives Seek Information about Citizen Robbery on WB&A Trail in Odenton...
On Saturday, March 2, 2013, at 11:30 a.m., officers responded to the area of the B & A trail near Old Waugh Chapel Road in reference to a robbery of a citizen. The citizen reported he was walking on the WB & A trail near the Old Waugh Chapel Road underpass when he was approached by the below described suspect who punched him in the face with a closed fist, knocking him to the ground. The suspect then displayed a knife and demanded cash. The victim and suspect got into a scuffle and the victim sustained injuries to his head, face and hand. The suspect, who may have also sustained an injury from the knife, fled on foot towards Rita Drive. The suspect is described as follows:
Black male, dark-skinned, 6’0”, 200 lbs., short dreadlocks (approximately 3” in length), wearing all dark clothing, including a dark cap on his head, dark shirt and dark pants, displayed a short folding-type knife.
