The NCSO is pleased to announce that we will be migrating to a new ONLINE Gun Permit Purchase Program effective April 1, 2013. The purpose of this is to streamline the process and eliminate you from having to make multiple trips to the Sheriff's Office for your purchase permit applications. However, as of right now, this does not apply to Concealed Weapons Permits or Renewals...only Purchase Permits. See the following link for additional information.
