On March 12th, 2013 during a joint investigation between the Nash County Sheriff's Office and the Rock Mount Police Department several subjects from Nash County were arrested on drug violations.

A vehicle stop was conducted at the on-ramp to Highway 64 near Nashville. An odor of Marijuana was detected coming from inside the vehicle. Consent to search the vehicle was granted. A small amount of Marijuana (3 grams) was located inside the pocketbook of ALEXIS COLE, who was a rear passenger inside the vehicle. A further search was conducted with a K-9 (DECA), which indicated inside the vehicle for the presence of narcotics. There were five subjects located inside the vehicle which were removed. During a search of the grass area where the subjects where standing, 60.5 grams of Marijuana were located. Driver (PATRICK LOGAN ROBERSON) and front passenger (AMBER ROWLAND) were charged with PWISD Marijuana and Felony possession. Due to ROBERSON being the driver, he was also charged with Maintaining a vehicle for a controlled substance. ALEXIS COLE was charged with simple possession of Marijuana.
