Camillus Police Department reaccredited by New York State

CAMILLUS, NEW YORK - Thursday March 14, 2008 – The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services, Law Enforcement Accreditation Council has reaccredited the Camillus Police Department in a ceremony held today in Albany New York. The Accreditation Council has determined that the Camillus Police Department has met or exceeded the 133 accreditation standards for the period of 2008-2012. These standards are divided into three categories, Administration, Operations and Training. Accreditation enables us to strengthen existing procedures while simultaneously creating a solid foundation for the future of the Camillus Police Department.
