On Monday March 18th West Monroe Police Detectives began investigating a reported Theft involving the attached unknown white male subject.
The Unknown white male entered a local discount store. While inside of the store the unknown suspect selected several high value items of merchandise and then switched actual price tags with tags for items of a lesser value. He then proceeded to the checkout area and fraudulently payed the incorrect amount and then proceeded out of the store. When the unknown suspect was approched by store security he quickly fled the area with the stolen merchandise, entering a white Nissan car and fleed the area.
