On March 21, 2013, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputies from the Parks Bureau Mounted Enforcement Detail observed two male adults smoking marijuana in a truck at Alondra Park. The deputies detained and identified the suspects as Nathan David Brennan, a male, adult, a resident of Harbor City and Alexander Michael Bornstein, a male, adult, a resident of Manhattan Beach.

After further investigation it was determined that Mr. Brennan was found to be in possession of several small bottle containers and some hand rolled cigarettes containing a green leafy substance that appeared to be marijuana. Also found was a small portable scale used to weigh marijuana and several small baggies indicative of items used for packaging for sales of “marijuana”. He was immediately arrested.
Suspect Bornstein was cited and released for smoking dangerous drugs in a park.

Suspect Brennan was booked at Century Regional Detention Facility for possession of marijuana for sales and is being held in lieu of a $15,000.00 bail.

Alondra Park is located 3850 Manhattan Beach Blvd, Lawndale.
