Early Morning Raid on Plymouth Meth House

Plymouth – A month long investigation by the Plymouth Police Department and the Indiana State Police resulted in two felony arrests early this morning. Shortly before 6:00 a.m. members of the Indiana State Police Emergency Response Section and the Meth Suppression Unit raided a home in Plymouth acting on a search warrant that had been obtained earlier in the week.

The residence, 1112 South Michigan Road, is located directly across the street from Webster Elementary School. Officers located a semi automatic rifle in the home along with the remnants of a meth lab and other drug paraphernalia.

Two subjects, including a juvenile, were at the home at the time the warrant was served. Both those individuals were questioned and released. The two suspects in the case Peter Devine, 34, and Tricia Eckert, 26, both live at the S. Michigan Road house. Both Devine and Eckert returned to the house after they were contacted by police.

Devine was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant out of Marshall County for theft and driving while suspended. In addition both Devine and Eckert now face Class A felony charges for dealing methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school. Both subjects were taken to the Marshall County Jail and are being held without bond.
*All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
