RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM -10 PM TODAY. RAPID WILDFIRE SPREAD POTENTIAL. OUTDOOR BURNING NOT RECOMMENDED
SUMMARY: The NWS has issued a notification stating that there is a Statewide Enhanced Risk of Wildfire in effect from this morning into early evening.
IMPACT: Critical fire weather conditions are expected which could cause great potential for rapid wildfire spreading today due to gusty winds, low relative humidity and dry fine fuels.
Forecast- ENHANCED RISK OF WILDFIRE SPREAD FROM LATE THIS MORNING INTO EARLY THIS EVENING, LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY LEVELS AND DRY FINE FUELS ALONG WITH INCREASING WINDS AGAIN AS WE PROGRESS LATER INTO THE MORNING AND THROUGHOUT THE AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING WILL CREATE AN ELEVATED RISK FOR THE SPREAD OF WILDFIRES. THE WINDS THOUGH ARE NOT GOING TO BE AS STRONG AS THEY HAVE BEEN THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS.
