Always lock your vehicle and close your windows.
Use a steering column locking device.
DO NOT leave your laptop or your garage remote in your vehicle
Always use your vehicle's alarm system.
If possible, park your vehicle in a garage.
Park your vehicle as close to a streetlight as possible.
If you see any suspicious activity near a vehicle, call the police.
Check your vehicle periodically & check your neighbor's vehicles.
IPODs and IPOD docking stations are prime targets.
If you witness suspicious activity, call for immediate police assistance. Be prepared to provide the suspect(s) physical description: clothing, height, weight, as well as suspect(s) vehicle description: make/model, color, and license plate number.
