Due to recent news stories and resident concerns we thought it necessary to advise the community of the Huron Township ordinance in regards to door to door peddlers.
Huron Twp Ordinance # 61-4 mandates that any door to door peddlers have a permit issued by township hall.
If residents are contacted by a solicitor that makes them feel uncomfortable or seem suspicious please contact the Police Department at 734-753-4400.
Do not allow solicitors into you’re your home.
Remember that DTE, and other major service providers do not send people door to door for solicitation purpose.
