AT 332 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A STRONG THUNDERSTORM OVER DOWNTOWN SUFFOLK...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 40
MPH. THE STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE NEAR BOWERS HILL AT 340 PM EDT...WESTERN BRANCH AT 345 PM EDT...CHURCHLAND AT 350 PM EDT...GHENT AT 355 PM EDT...NORVIEW AT 400 PM EDT...AND NORFOLK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AT 405 PM EDT.

EXPECT OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING...WIND GUSTS TO 45 MPH...AND HEAVY RAINFALL WITH THESE STORMS. PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS IS ALSO POSSIBLE. IF YOU HEAR THUNDER...YOU ARE CLOSE
