Flemington Woman Arrested For Sexual Assault On A Child
Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III announced the arrest of one individual as a result of a joint investigation conducted by Detectives from the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Flemington Borough Police Department.
Prosecutor Kearns stated, “Dallas L. Kirchner, a 19 year old Flemington woman, was arrested on February 27th and charged with one count of Sexual Assault, 2nd degree, and one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, 3rd degree. Evidence obtained by Detectives revealed that Miss Kirchner was having sexual relations with a victim under the age of 16 when she was greater than 4 years older than the victim. The incidents occurred multiple times in the Borough of Flemington in 2012. Miss Kirchner was not in a caretaking role over the victim.”
The defendant was lodged at the Hunterdon County Jail in lieu of $25,000.
The filing of a criminal complaint is merely a step in the criminal justice process. The defendant is presumed innocent until the matter is resolved in a court of law.
