FRANK VENABLE SENTENCED IN HUNTERDON COUNTY
Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III announces that Frank Venable, age 58, of
Flemington, was sentenced to 13 years in New Jersey State Prison for three counts of Sexual
Assault (2nd degree) and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child (3rd degree) and one
count of Criminal Sexual Contact (4th Degree). He must serve that sentence at the Adult
Diagnostic and Treatment Center, a prison facility exclusively for those who commit sexual
offenses. He will be subject to Megan’s Law and parole supervision for life.
Mr. Venable was formerly convicted in 2011 by a Hunterdon County Jury for Aggravated
Criminal Sexual Contact (3rd degree) and Endangering the Welfare of a Child (3rd degree). He
was serving a sentence of four years in state prison for those crimes.
According to Prosecutor Kearns, “The journey of this prosecution was a long and arduous one.
The Prosecutor’s Office fully realizes we can never give back to the victims what was taken from
them. This prosecution reflects the efforts we will undertake to bring justice to all victims.”
