PPD is investigating an attempted luring which occurred on 4/19 @ 5:50PM on the 800 Blk of Washington Ave. 
On Friday April 19, 2013 at 5:50 PM, police were dispatched to a residence on the 600 block of Washington Avenue to investigate the report of an attempted luring of two young male juveniles, ages 10 and 11. The juveniles reported they were walking in the 800 black of Washington Avenue and were approached by a white male operating a dark blue Nissan Pathfinder or Nissa Xterra. The juveniles stated the male asked them if they needed a ride and drove off. The juveniles stated the vehicle was last seen making a left turn to onto 7th street towards Lincoln Avenue.
