Dallas Police Homicide Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in providing information regarding the murder that occurred on December 27, 2012, at approximately 10:40 P.M. in the 100 block of Monaghan Court. The victim, Lorenzo Wilson, was at his residence when he went to answer a knock at his door. According to a witness, several gunshots were heard and the victim was found shot. An unknown Black male wearing all black clothing was seen fleeing the shooting location in a gold colored SUV towards Corinth Street. Officers responded shortly afterward and found the victim lying just inside the doorway with multiple gunshot wounds. Mr. Wilson was transported to Methodist Central Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
