Notice: There have been a number of thefts from unlocked vehicles over the past week. Remember larceny is usually a crime of opportunity. If you leave items such as cash, tablets, cell phones, etc. in plain view in your unlocked vehicle it will soon become an invitation for someone to take them. It is not uncommon for the proceeds of your items to then be used to buy drugs. So save yourself the aggravation, and a call to your insurance agent, by just locking your car doors, and even your residence when you leave. Remember, a click of a button on your remote can lock doors in a second.
