CDS ARREST BROOKLYN PARK
On April 29, 2013, at approximately 11:36 a.m., officers from the Northern District responded to the Sleep Inn located at 6055 Belle Grove Road for a report of an unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Upon arrival, officers spoke to the victim, who stated that her boyfriend, Mr. Reginald Woodson, had her rental vehicle and wouldn’t return it back to her. Officers located Mr. Woodson in the driver’s seat of the Ford Van and spoke to him. Mr. Woodson was accompanied by a female in the passenger seat. Officers on scene approached the vehicle and detected a strong odor of burnt marijuana within the vehicle. Both occupants were asked to step outside the vehicle. Mr. Woodson fled the area on foot while officers were tending to the passenger in the vehicle. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the recovery of a large amount of CDS:
1) 121.2 grams of suspected Cocaine
2) 56 green baggies containing suspected Crack Cocaine, 11.1 grams
3) 44 gel capsules of suspected Heroin, 10.7 grams
4) Digital Scale with white residue containing suspected Cocaine.
5) $10,360 in US Currency was seized.
6) Total street value of suspected CDS is approximately $12,479.
7) Various CDS Tools recovered.
Suspect #1: Marquile Young, 31, of 808 East Jeffery Street, Baltimore, Md
Charges: 3 counts of CDS Possession Not Marijuana
3 counts of CDS Possession with intent to Distribute
1 count of Possession of Paraphernalia
Officers searched the area for the other suspect, but were unable to locate him. An arrest warrant was obtained for the driver after he was positively identified as Reginald Woodson, 32, of 4910 Liberty Heights Ave in Baltimore City.
