Shooting Death Investigation, 15900 blk Ladysmith St, Hacienda Heights #SGV #LASD Homicide
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of three people who were found in the 15900 block of Ladysmith Street, Hacienda Heights, on the morning of Wednesday, May, 1, 2013.
Detectives have learned that Industry Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to the location regarding a call of a gunshot victim. When deputies arrived, they found two women, ages 80 and 62, and one 84 year-old male, all with gunshot wounds. The women were pronounced dead at the scene, and the male was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The man and the 80 year-old woman were husband and wife, and the 62 year-old female was their daughter-in-law. The male shot the two women, before shooting himself, in an apparent murder-suicide. There is no known motive at this time.
One shotgun and one handgun were recovered from the location.
