Investigators from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Homicide Bureau responded to the 900 block of McDonnell Avenue, East Los Angeles, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man.


The victim was transported to a local hospital and pronounced dead.
