The Rutherford County Building Inspector in conjunction Lake Lure Fire Chief Ron Morgan have condemned two homes on Tryon Bay due to a landslide that occurred as a result of the recent rains in Lake Lure.
Tryon Bay will be open for two-lane traffic from either direction from Memorial Hwy UP TO the area of 177 Tryon Bay, 179 Tryon Bay and 173 Tryon Bay. The road will be closed in front of these homes, blocking through traffic.
IT IS ADVISED THAT UNLESS YOU HAVE BUSINESS OR ARE A RESIDENT OF TRYON BAY THAT YOU REMAIN OUT OF THE AREA AT THIS TIME.
This road closure will remain in effect until the homes are stabilized.
