Lake Lure Police Department has partnered with LeadsOnline in an effort to provide a safe and secure place to keep information on your valuables for a reference should you become a victim of a Larceny.
For years people have been using their computer systems to store information and photos of their jewelry, computers, cameras, lawn equipment, machinery, printers, game systems and the list goes on and on. Problem is what happens if your computer or disc or thumb drive gets stolen along with your other belongings. It’s a situation that happens all too often.
LeadsOnline is a company that our law enforcement officers use to assist them when a theft has occurred.
As a service to our Lake Lure residents, LeadsOnline has partnered with the Lake Lure Police Department to provide a safe and secure site to store your information.
This list is invaluable for police, making your items more easily identified in the event of loss or theft. This record may also come in handy when reporting any loss to your insurance provider. Consider it a personal filing system that no one can hack into and steal when your other items may have been taken.
It’s easy to set up and use. Simply go to the LeadsOnline Citizen Property Inventory System page or click here for the link. You’ll need to create your own personal account. Once you’re signed in, you can enter items, serial numbers, photos and scanned receipts, then store them safely. You can always add to or delete items as needed.
