Sheriff's Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the stabbing death of a man.

On Thursday, May 9, 2013 at about 10:09 pm, Sheriff's Deputies from South Los Angeles Station responded to a "person bleeding" call in the 1100 block of West 87th Street, Los Angeles (Co.). Upon arrival, Deputies found a male adult victim lying on the West side of the location bleeding from multiple stab wounds. Paramedics responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

According to a witness, the victim and another individual were drinking beer on the West side of the location earlier in the evening. About a half hour later, the same witness left his apartment and saw the victim lying on the West side of the location, bleeding from his injuries. No suspects were seen and no murder weapon has been found.
