Tarrant County is currently working to develop a county-wide local mitigation action plan through funding assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). A local mitigation action plan identifies the hazards that pose a threat to the community; reveals vulnerabilities in disaster planning and response that should be addressed; and provides a strategic mitigation framework that guides the community towards a more resilient future.

Citizen input is critical to ensuring a comprehensive plan that represents the needs of the entire community. Your participation in this survey will help county, city, and township officials better prepare for disasters.
