WILLIAMSTON POLICE DEPARTMENT DRUGS DROP OFF
The Williamston Police Department is participating in the Capital Area Take Back Meds/Drugs Drop Off program and now has a drop box for disposal of medications. You can drop off medications Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
We accept:
Pain Relievers (Vicodin, Hydrocodone, Demerol, Oxycodone, Fentanyl)
Anti-Depressants (Valium, Xanax, Zoloft, Prozac)
Sleep Aids (Ambien, Lunesta, Sonata)
Behavior Modification Medication (Ritalin, Methylphenidate, Adderal)
Cough Medication (With Dextromethorphan)
Not accepted:
All other prescription medications
Medicated ointments and lotions
Needles, syringes, lancets, epi-pens
Bloody or infectious waste
Over-the-Counter drugs
Vitamins & supplements
Thermometers
Insulin and inhalers
