ENID MAN ARRESTED FOR CHILD ABUSE
Officers of the Enid Police Department responded to St. Mary’s Emergency Room, 305 S. 5th St., Enid early this morning in reference to a one year old child having numerous visible injuries. Apparently the child’s mother brought the child to the emergency room due to the injuries. Detectives were called to investigate this matter and went to the mother’s residence. They spoke with the mother’s boyfriend, Brandon Chattam, at this residence, 508 E. Oak and he was subsequently arrested for Possession of Marijuana Within 1000 Feet of a Park. Chattam has also been charged with Injury to a Minor Child as a result of the investigation. DHS was also notified and the child was treated and released from the emergency room. Chattam is being held at the Garfield County Detention Facility without bond.
