Tetanus vaccinations will be available in Clifton at Sunflower Insurance on Wed., May 22, from 10am - 2 pm. If you are working with storm debris, be sure your Tetanus vaccination is up to date. Check with your health care provider or Clay County Health Department 632-3193 for more information. Wash all wounds and abrasions with soap and water, keep wounds clean and dry and watch for redness, swelling, tenderness or heat at the wound site or other signs of infection. Seek medical assistance immediately if infection develops. Wear protective clothing, sturdy shoes or boots, gloves and eye protection while cleaning up storm debris.
