Tornado WATCH is in effect for Ellis County thru 7pm. 
Ellis County is currently under a tornado watch extending to 7pm. A tornado watch means that conditions are favorable for tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for severe weather conditions and listen for later statements broadcast by radio and television.
In the event of an emergency Police vehicles will alert City residents by utilizing sirens and PA systems in the neighborhoods.
