BURGLARIES - HANOVER/HARMANS
On Saturday, May 18, 2013, officers from the Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Western District responded to multiple reports of attempted residential burglaries and a burglary in the community of Harmans in Hanover.
In three of the incidents, the suspect(s) attempted to gain entry to the residence, but were unsuccessful. In a fourth incident, the suspect(s) forced entry to the home and removed property. It is unclear at this time whether the suspect(s) then fled on foot or in a vehicle.
All four incidents occurred during the overnight hours of May 17 into May 18. During each incident, the homes were occupied with the residents inside sleeping at the time. The incidents occurred in the following areas:
7600 block of Fairbanks Court
1400 block of Gesna Drive
7600 block of Ridge Chapel Road
7700 block of Baggins Road
Residents are asked to be on the lookout in the community for suspicious vehicles and persons and are asked to call 911 immediately to report any suspicious activity. Anyone with information on these incidents is asked to contact Detective W. Sweeney at 410-222-6155.
