The Sixth Precinct is advising motorists of multiple closures due to four Memorial Day parades this weekend 
The Centereach Memorial Day Parade will be held on Sunday, May 26th. Rt. 25 (aka Middle Country Rd.) in Centereach from Rustic Rd to Nicolls Rd and Horseblock Rd from Rt 25 south to Blydenburg Rd will be closed from 12:45 p.m. til 3 p.m. In addition, the ramp from southbound Nicolls Rd to westbound Rt 25 will be closed.
The Stony Brook Village Memorial Day Parade will be held on Monday, May 27th. A section of Main St. between the Village Center and Christian Avenue will be closed between 8:45 a.m. and 9:45 a.m.
The East Setauket Memorial Day Parade will be held on Monday, May 27th. Main Street between Rt. 25A and Caroline Avenue will be closed at approximately 10:30 a.m., and Rt. 25A will be closed from the intersection of Main Street east to Bay View Avenue beginning at 10:45 a.m. The roads are expected to reopen at approximately 12:30 p.m. The parade begins at the Emma Clark Library on Main St. and ends at Setauket Veteran's Memorial Park on Rt. 25A.
The Farmingville Memorial Day Parade will be held on Monday May 27th. Horseblock Rd. (aka CR 16) will be closed between Granny Rd. and Nicholls Rd. beginning at approximately 10:45 a.m. The road is expected to reopen at 12:30 after a ceremony at the Farmingville Holtsville Veterans Memorial Park just west of Nicholls Rd..
